Transformation sequence is way better in Nanoha.

Yeah Nanoha was meant for action lolicons. Not little girls. Madoka was meant for 2deep4u edgefgs or to shock mahou shoujo fans with the horror and subversion. Only CCS was the true mahou shoujo meant for little girls.

I don't know why people hype it up either because Season 1 is going to without fail filter the fuck out of 90% of watchers. It's better to give people adjusted expectations.

I think you're both right. I really like nanoha but I would consider season 1 to be pretty damn average, the only reason I didn't drop it was because I liked fate. I'm really glad that I stuck around for A's though.

Nanoha is an amazing character with a lot of depth to her but S1 and A's don't get it across on their own fully. S1 does a decent job but a lot of what it's trying to do makes way more sense when you come back to it knowing how Nanoha ticks from other material.
