Was great a Lot of great characters specialy Norman has a bunch of emotional moments andfunny memes
Deus ex celebi is shit and sapphire is shafted so bad It Hurts she Just fells like a Tool for Ruby While other arcs had obviously main characters the others were pretty important and has their own things going on While saphire is fun she doesnt have the same importance as the others
But still a great arc with the best moments on the series 8/10

I already read all of PokeSpe but RS is definitely my favorite arc. Ruby is a good MC. Looking forward to the dumps for DPPt, BW+2, and ORAS.

DPP is probably my favorite arc. I really enjoyed BW but the pacing (an issue across Adventures but really prevalent later on) was awful. Sidelining of the other characters like Charon and Bianca also sucked.

Some of the current magazine chapters and endings of the arcs are pretty badsince the author uses the volume releases to tell the full story that the magazine chapters cut out because of time reasons

Variety is the spice of life. Like Ruby and Sapphire was literally Shoujo + Shonen tropes combined into one arc alongside a kaiju movie set piece.

Pokemon is a slave to its release scheduling now. With every game they have a bunch of good ideas with awful execution because they just don't have the time to implement them, and even these ideas are abandoned to cut corners for the next game.

If they took their time, they could bring together their greatest hits and make an amazing game every 2-3 years. But because they want to make more profit, keep up the hype, and meet the demands of anime/TCG, they use that time to produce 4 barely acceptable turds instead. And it's not even their fault, they're capitalism's bitch like everyone else.

Arceus is the best example, it could've been BoTW tier with more development but it's a great gameplay loop glued to 2005 graphics instead.

As much as RS was an absolute rollercoaster of a ride, DPP provides a nice balance of comedy, action and other stuff in one real neat package. It's a really solid arc, that's for sure.
