why does it have to be an exact copy of the orginal. it's more kino to take the basic premise, people stuck in a mall, and then change it to make it your own. great movie, best in it's genre imo

No, the first 15 minutes is the best zombie movie ever made. After the Johnny Cash intro it goes downhill though.

It's an odd one to judge. The movie has a lot of kino segments/moments, but overall, as a complete movie, it's kinda meh. It's worth a beer-and-popcorn watch for the great moments ... but after you've seen it once, it's really not worth revisiting beyond maybe watching the cooler moments on YouTube.

Nah, the original is boring. Lacks depth, lacks action and the zombies are laughably bad, not scary at all. Literally nothing going for it. At least Sneeder's is fun, it has action and some cool musical bits.
