Gen Xer. X-Files came out when I was in the 7th grade. Literally nothing like it. It originally aired on Friday. In high school me and a football friend would record it on VHS on Friday and watch it on Saturday. Pure nostalgia. That said. Deep Throat is the best episode. Listen to Snow’s score

My favorite episode is Die Hand Die Verletzt. Perfect combination of cheese, some humor, but still a spooky and fun story when Satanic Panic was still a part of the zeitgeist (I remember my mom in the 90s being terrified that we were all being molested at school).
