1.5 billion people

>1.5 billion people
>larger economy than the US
>no cinematic output

Explain this.

>no cinematic output
They pay Disney to make movies for them.

They make great amount of movies. You just don't live in china or otherwise have enough interest to watch those

its all pro-china propaganda with the exact same themes, motif, and mise-en-scene.

Wow it's almost like the U.S. has a lock on exporting culture and that's why this board has become 90% America-obsessed and addicted globoplebs seething that America doesn't entertain them like it used to.

Chino chuds... it is OVER for us!

If you're going to ask why they don't have good movies, then it's best to ask an Asian film maker his thoughts.

Because yes there are absolutely problems

But there are masterpieces that hold up to any of the greatest Hollywood movies.

>Italy has a bigger economy than south Korea, Russia and the Netherlands
??? since when?

GDP is an outdated, irrelevant and fundamentally misguided way of measuring "wealth" and prosperity.

they have a closed market and don't export movies outside or they basically don't get imported.
The problem is that the media companies that produce an export movies is basically 4, wb, sony, universal, disney, and those have the money to push the movies everywhere, those companies are basically all americans too. You won't really see an italian/german/french/korean movie pushed internationally apart from some rare cases, even if they produce a lot of movies, america has the monopoly

I'm Australian and my number is 14 so that's pretty damn close.
tfw it's been 6 years since I had sex and almost 10 since I had a girlfriend.

What the fuck are the Japanese even doing with that economy.

You don't hear about anything going on there these days.

>believing self reported data
all this says is that Turks are the world's biggest liars

This. U.S. GDP keeps going up while 99% of the country has been slipping into second world tier for almost two decades now.

China's the only one who comes close to their GDP and China is an even bigger shithole.

GDP per capita is a better measure but it's still not great, the sum of all wealth is not illusory fiat bucks produced per year.

They literally had the highest grossing movie 2 years in a row

>??? since when?
>the most famous country known for their luxury brands
>big automotive field
>military and aereospacial industry complex
>big gastronomic and gourmet shit market
>pharmaceuticals
>arguably the nr 1 tourist spot in europe
what do you think it should have been smaller than korea (basically samsung and kpop), russia (just oil and military and the rest is a shithole), and netherlands (an irrilevant country if it wasnt for amsterdam whores and weed)?

Africa will have 2 billions more people in 30 years and their economy is smaller than pacific Asian countries

OP does not speak Chinese.

I'm sure it'll be fine. Let's build some schools.

because their precious priceless resources were stolen from them by all the other continents

And Russia invaded Ukraine who is reinforced by all of Europe + USA...

You mean the ones they didn't do anything with for all of human history prior?

Hahahah biggest load of shit I've ever seen

How does that discount their wealth being stolen? If they have no opportunity to rise up because France still has quasi colonial power over them, why are you blaming them for having weak GDP?

You do hear about them working themselves to death so that had to count for something. Also LOOK AT THOSE NUMBERS
