elves are not black. end of discussion.

Elves at Helm's Deep is my only major complaint.
It's a bit too much of an action movie like RotK, but there isn't nearly as much dumb shit, so it comes out better.

3000 vs 10K in book.
300 + 150 eleves vs 10000 orcs in movie.
Still a badass scene though.

Hey ho, merry day a dillo
What's not aright with this here film?
It lacks certain rhyme and festive whim
of gay Old Tom Bombadil-oh!

we never get to see inside the towers

CGI

All.
Peter Jackson sucks.

>What went wrong?
It's fucking boring

Get a RoP(e), shill.
Your show bombed and is only beloved by pajeets.

Too much ents not enough Frodo and Sam.

I’d say Aragorns Legolas and gimli storyline is the standout of the movie.

Did you chimp out when the whole first half of the book had no Frodo?

What went RIGHT?

It deviated from the books and a lot of important scenes weren't included while adding nonsense. The cast clearly loved Tolkien and together with the music is what saved this trilogy, yet compared to what Hollywood has produced the past 9 decades the quality is discernible, it's just that the bar is too low.

Arwen should have been black and part of the fellowship

I don’t read books

it shows

nothing, it's the best of the trilogy.
>b-but muh cgi
Fellowship had cgi that holds up worse, and it wasn't even necessary in a lot of cases, such as the scene with the Watcher. TTT uses cgi sparingly, only for the cases where practical effects wouldn't be possible. Fellowship uses it for spectacle, and it did not age well.
>b-but muh elves at Helm's Deep
not a flaw. it helps Theoden's character arc, reminds the audience about Aragorn's connection to the elves, and the deaths help bolster why the elves can't/won't send more help later in the series. the only argument against it is "it's different from the books" which isn't an argument, and nobody cares when Fellowship deviated from the books.

Nothing, Two Towers is the best of the 3. It has the epic story of 3 while still being down to earth and personable like 1

Extended or theatrical?

>Elves at helms deep
>Aragorn takeout death
>Osgiliath detour/plot cul-de-sac
>Shield skateboard
>No Shelob climax
>No "Frodo has been captured" cliff hanger

Niggers.
