right but those armoured animals are protected against things they'd encounter in their natural environments. an armadillo will get splattered by 9mm. crabs will get crushed by a human fist.
if he was just decked in power armour it would be fine, instead his flesh is just inexplicably tough enough to be effectively immune to impacts from beings that just flew straight through his colossal spaceship. why has his race developed materials like this space metal to make a giant spaceship when their own flesh is magnitudes more effective at deflecting every weapon imaginable? just make a spaceship out of synthetic thanos skin
