Soulless. Pattinson ranting about FF7 was soul, instead.
Why do Numenor look like cheap steampunk middle east with demography of 2022 New York? Wtf is wrong with the showrunners?
That's a sign of good taste, user.
It fits with Minoans simply because Thera (now Santorini), which was one of the biggest Minoan cities, is likely one of the inspirations for Atlantis.
>(the "Pillars of Hercules" were landmarks that were apparently shifting somewhat, not the mountains themselves, but which mountains they were).
>b-but Minoans showed themselves as PALE WHITE;
I'm convinced they'd still look like the People of the Mediterranean we see in the present; very hot and sunny there to be as pale as Northern Europe.
Her pronunciation of 'Finarrrfin' was great
>Mogs Galadriel
Morfbros....I don't feel so good....
Why didn't they show Miriel's father? Is he someone important.
Tolkien made LOTR as myth for England, he said it himself that the tale should have northern European or Celtic quality, not Med
>cheap steampunk middle east
Literally greece though?
He's important in that he's meant to be the ruling king of Numenor but the decision not to show him, idk why they are doing that.
He was one of the few castings choices that didn't come out in leaks so maybe he will always be offscreen
I looked at the imdb and there isn't any listed actor who could be playing him. I don't really get the decision to not show him, it's not like Tar-Palantir is some mysterious character or something.
>ywn be Aragorn
I've shifted far to the left politically over the past few years.
This show is single handedly turning me back into a Any Forumstard.
Different. The show Numenor looks like Babylon, just missing some palm trees.
Cliffhanger bait is easier to do than writing an engaging story.
