The Spooky Spook

Nigga next door episode 211

The Haunted Mask, clearly. Goosebumps unironically has SOVL.

I recommend everyone rewatch/reread.

Ok guys, which ones better? Are you afraid of the Dark, or Goosebumps?

beware of the purple drank

Well sometimes it isn't just about being creepy but also sending a message. This is why books like How I Learned to Fly are better than the rest. I can appreciate that. Second, I really don't think anyone today does SCP/backrooms concept style horror as well as he did in the 90s (not even Junji Ito, as much as I love him)

Making something "scary" can only go so far in entertainment value, you also have to give a shit about the characters

Are You Afraid of the Dark at least kept a spooky vibe
Goosebumps was way too campy and cheesy

Somehow this dog used to scare me

Didn't ask

It scared a lot of us surprisingly. Watching it back I had no reaction. Made me a little sad to be honest to see childhood feelings go out the window

still does

Explain why this is bad without using the words "black," "jew," or "woke."

That dog is dead now

Good.

D:

Better yet: explain why it's bad that it resembles Goosebumps, a cherished 90s TV show.

That dog is clearly magic, he'll never die
