It's not just that he has muscles or charisma. He's fucking smart. He knew who to work with based on his skills, what type of roles to get. How to properly break into other genres. Also behind the scenes work, such as getting carolco to buy the rights to Total Recall and contacting Verhoeven about making the film. He was a smart man.

Arnold but Sly has more soul

Arnie is both pretty and manly. Both Achilles and Ganymede, incredible really. Anyone this beautiful deserves to die at 30, to live forever this way.

Sly was a far better actor and more intelligent. Arnold couldn’t pull off Rocky or First Blood whereas Stallone could do every one of Arnold’s roles.

I prefer Arnold because he starred in better movies, is more charismatic, and just had that "it" factor that makes a movie star. I do like Stallone and think Rocky 1 deserved the oscar. He's much darker though. A similar but different kind of success story. Despite being obviously blessed with genetics Arnold exuded a "if you never quit, you can achieve your goals" vibe whereas Stallone is more like "life can put you in the gutter but it's up to you to claw your way back out".

being tall =/= cool, but being short definitely excludes you from being anything but a manlet. Think of the biggest, baddest, most alpha dude you can and now imagine he's 5'4"... it completely ruins it doesn't it?

Now there are some guys who are still based despite being short. Someone like Prince comes to mind, but he's badass in a weird/feminine way so he can pull it off.

I saw Commando and was shocked how bad of a shitty porn level actor arnold was during dialogue scenes. He can only do silent roleswhere he only drops one liners he practiced infront of a mirror a 1000 times. Stallone on the other hand is pure soul

I think I’ve listened to his autobiography 4 times so far. I was lifting today and no cap I started listening to it again. Pure motivation.

I think it gave him the fuel for ambition. His other kids are just spoiled losers whereas the halfbreed craves validation and acceptance from his dad. This isn’t a bad thing.

I hope he ends up successful because he seems like a well rounded nice guy.
