"Teleporno" - J.R.R. Tolkien

So I'm assuming the orcs were looking for the magic sword Bronwyn's son has

Bros, how did he become the only reason to watch this garbage show?
No other character or plot is interesting to follow.

HOTD out of the water.

Heheheh

I'm watching both and it's painfully clear HOTD is the better show, this episode proved it.

I think the whole ancient super-elf woman running around the world kinda ruins it, they should have focused on more average peoples.

So RoP chads how are we feeling now that ep3 was a 10/10 and the racists are fully BTFO? Also who else called the "sigil" being a map of mordor before this episode?

What is point of bullying scene in first episode?

It doesnt seem very elvish.

Negative. You have shit opinions and shit taste.

I miss the lil nigga like you wouldn't believe, also Celabrimbor depicted in the Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War was 1000x better then the basic bitch forgettable faggot elf in this show

I guess to make Galadriel even a little sympathetic and to explain why she's bothered by the death of her brother

Nah I'm more of a Tolkien fanboy than a GRRM fanboy, the production quality is much better than HOTD but in terms of dialogue and story presentation RoP is shitting the bed compared to HOTD.

Metaphor for the first kinslaying which they don't have the rights for and can't show. Galadriel is half Teleri and fought on the side of the Teleri against the Noldor who stole the Teleri ships and later burned them. So in the show, to depict this, Galadriel makes a ship, the noldorian children destroy it, and she retaliates against them. Metaphor.

I was just thinking, why are we following an elf character who gets imprisoned by the orcs. it makes less sense (because they'd immediately torture him to death) and it's harder to relate to his plight than if he was human. plus it makes it less impressive if he escapes.

you keep posting this retarded shit every thread, i genuinely hope you get obliterated by a bus retard

>it's possible for a scene to be so high-IQ it goes back round to being low-IQ

Is Gal smol or Halbrand big?

>because they'd immediately torture him to death
not remotely true, Morgoth and Sauron had plenty of captives of all races enslaved because they're useful. When the war of wrath concluded it's stated that countless slaves were freed from the dungeons of angband and were able to find healing in valinor.

>>At the beginning of the first episode, they imply Galadriel has been walking around for centuries after the fall of Morgoth. But at 38:15 in the same episode, the young dude says all the followers of Morgoth died a century ago. What the hell is going on?
>Did you mix up thousand and hundred?
>Galadriel says they've been hunting sauron for multiple centuries. Knife-ears kid says "the lot you lump us in with died off a thousand years ago".
Oh... in the French version, this dude says "un siècle", which means "a (one) century". In the French subtitles, they "depuis des siècles" ("for centuries"). In the original version, he indeed says "a thousand years ago".

It's not the first time that I notice Amazon is providing faulty translations and subtitles. There are lots of grammatical errors and typos in the French subtitles.

We'll never see any rings, this show will be canceled before then.

HalBIGand

well canonically Galadriel is supposed to be 6' 4''

The "rocks look down into darkness, ships look up" was genuinely retarded. But the part with galadriel making a ship and the children sinking it was absolute kino, it just won't be understood by the vast majority of people either because they don't know the context or they know the context or are too dumb to make the connection.
