Fuck the lore. Even if you didn't read any of the books you should understand Gandalf's character better from the movies alone.
Gandalf's main deal is he loves and respects every creature on Middle Earth. That is why he tells Saruman that he is wrong to underestimate the hobbits.

To think that this Gandalf would willingly sacrifice the fireflies to just speak doesn't make any sense.
Even bezos wouldn't fall that low.

Didn't Glorfindel get reincarnated, or whatever you want to call it, just after the one ring was forged? Blue Wizards were sent around the same time. What are the odds that the Nomad Hobbit story isn't at the same time as Galadriel's, but is set after?

WRONG. Saruman was right about the Hobbits. The wizards were supposed to support MEN not garden gnomes. Gandalf wasted a century smoking weed with hobbits instead of organizing human leaders to cull goblins and seek the ring.
