This is possibly the case for a large portion of people with an IQ under 100. These days you have many people being allowed into universities with deficient intelligence. The type that go into fields like social work and gender studies, where the departments are largely training camps for indoctrinating activists. You end up with smoothbrains being presented with ideology they don't have the intelligence to critically asses. Then they go out and act like they are educated.

I work as an academic lector (in my native language so don't reeee at me if I make a mistake in this post) and there's nothing worse than social work papers. Usually I end up with around 400 edits per 1000 words. It's not just like these people have poor spelling or something. They literally can't write a single normal sentence with proper style and grammar. A social work bachelor thesis more often than not reads like an essay done by an 8th grader. I'm basically ghost writing their papers at this, it's baffling how many idiots are running around with these degrees and the sad thing is that I'm enabling them.
