Also the gayest.

Looks like they got his mop from an up market boutique supermarket, probably Target.

I have no idea how people can watch this. Literally feels like a b movie satire like that Twilight comedy movie

Honestly, at this point, i would rather they just had normal black hair. The bleached wigs look so out of place.

was this the guy riding a dragon in the last episode? did velaryons always have dragons?

Is his hair real

It's hilarious because it looks dumber with each episode but they have to stick with it now

how can people watch this when rings of power is a slightly less shitty version?

Yes. they ride 3. Small nigress Is the rider of Vhagar the largest and oldest of all dragons in westeros, gay nigger Is the rider of Seasmoke. Rhaenys, the queen who never was, rides Meleys and Is the best dragon rider we know of.

That Is also the point of having good ties with the negraryons since they have dragons, can have dragon riders and the Sea Snake Is the best sailor in the world.

is this book canon or show canon? when Corlys meets Daemon he says the difference between Velaryons and Targs is that they don't have dragons. I thought Laenor was just riding Daemon's dragon.

Dragons have to form a bond with you from birth and you need Targaryen blood in your lineage if its a grown dragon. The 2 Velaryon dragon riders are born to a Targaryen mother.

>hire completely different looking black guys who are probably from African tribes thousands of miles apart
>imply they look the same and are brothers
I'm thinking based

What really gets me about this casting is that he and his sister keep getting peddled to the royal family as potential spouses because of their "pure Valyrian blood." But they very clearly cast a light-skinned dude to be the logical progeny of his white mother and black dad. They can't even keep their line pure for one generation, let alone since 'ancient times.' It really wouldn't be so bad if they just casted this as a black family and left it there. Stupid, but at least somewhat tolerable. But something like thrice now they've explicitly talked in the show about their "pure heritage." It's like they want to keep 'scratching the wound' so I CAN'T just ignore it and suspend my disbelief. Is this a joke?

Anons have been bitching for ages about blacks getting cast in fantasy, but here it's so much deeper than that. This isn't just any tertiary character getting blacked. This is supposed to be one of the few remaining lines (along with the royal family) of an ancient race that practices extreme incest in hopes of not dying out. They should at least look like the Targaryans, who've already been established to be white as snow. And then there's the whole subtext that, despite living closer to the equator than anyone on Essos, the Valyrians are an unnaturally pale race with freaky eyes and some kind of blood pact with fire monsters. ie: The Valyrians are LITERAL "white devils."

STOCK

Somehow the uncle looked even more retarded.

Anyone with valyrian blood can theoretically tame dragons on some levels. The Velaryons are still valyrians even tho the show has made them kangz.

Don't forget basically every noble family of old valyria had dragon riders.

>B...but show is not cannon. WDYM valyrions can't ride dragons? Giving dragon eggs to random people at birth is more sensible, what does dragon have to do with the rider being targ or not?

>Only "white" Velaryon
>Only one that can ride a dragon
>It's because of his superior white Targ genes
Uh oh... did HBO do a racism?

Mop head

Because, dear shill, I hate Amazon Prime with a passion
