Why exactly is the hobbit trilogy disliked?

People are haters and contrarians. They're objectively good movies, almost as good as ROP or LOTR.

Rushed production, CGI

I don't dislike them, I just know they could have been better. It's like seeing a child that has potential but they end up a disappointment, but you still love them anyway.

It's just disappointing and not as good as rings of power

48fps meme made it feel like not a movie

filler, donutsteels and too much cgi

last movie is shit

Too much unnecessary stuff. They added scenes from the appendices that were totally unnecessary and slowed the story down. I'm so glad the fan edits managed to get rid of some of that bloat and made them watchable.

They're not very good. They added lots of shit

Rushed and heavy corporate interference. And also a retarded amount of shitty CGI and action sequences.

It had everything it needed to succeed and then some:
>huge hype, army of fans across the world eager to pay
>popular director
>large budget
>easily adaptable source material
>strong cast
...yet managed to fail, ending up mediocre at best
>deviates from source material too much *for no reason*
>adds unrelated sideplots, creates deviantart-tier fanfiction
>bloats what should've been 2 movies into 3, probably also rushed as a result
>greenscreen everywhere
>experimental 48 fps
>the GoPro scene
Disappointing.

Its literally white genocide

padded out to the extreme
doesn't focus on bilbo enough
too much ridiculous cgi
huge, epic battle at the end for... some gold

they're not terrible but they're not good and I've only seen them once each. first two are 5/10s, third was absolute dogshit

you forgot to mention niggers and chinks

Dragged on far too long
The 4.5 hour edit would have been far better if not made in 480p

Poor cgi

Don't know, never saw it, neither did anyone I know. All I know about it is the promotional clips I've run across over the years, and they were all unforgivably retarded looking. If that's the best the marketing team can muster I doubt the full thing is any better.

Strong vaginal energy

They're not. They average 7.66 on imdb and 80.6% critic score on RT. The people who hate them are just a very vocal minority.

Amazon shills desperately trying to attack the weak point of the Jackson films (case in point: everyone in this thread calling them bad).

Yes, making it a trilogy instead of two movies was a bad idea, but the fact that that, on top of the production issues, Jackson being ill for a good chunk of it, among others, is proof that they're good because they managed to pull through and make for entertaining films.

People who shit on them for free are just Lindsey Ellis simps who think Frodo and Sam were written as a secret fag relationship.

PS. Del Toro leaving production was a good thing because it meant he couldn't shove in his fish fetish.
