Everyone has a different idea of what a point or a star or whatever means. Compare it against other shows being rated on the same platform.

even this fucking shit is better intro than what they showed. Elves being pussies while a woman has to fight
enough for me to keep on watching who cares
It unironically isn't canon.
Haradrim are the cloest to african but even that's a stretch.

It's irredeemable trash. I'm only here for the memes.

5/10, watchable with some potential but impossible to tell if they will live up to the potential
rop is a crime against humanity
Humans destroy nature
How does everyone know the guy on the raft is sauron?
When they reopen reviews I’m giving it a 1/10. Not as a review bomb I genuinely feel that way, I compare it to the fellowship of the ring which had so much soul where as this does not
apologize for what, I loved the shadow games and their creative takes on the lore
same. keep it up, /rope/
Because that would be the biggest tweest. MNS taught them well
Every time I look at this scene again it just gets worse and worse.
We have the absurd out-of-place "knife ears" slur, which doesn't fit a universe where Elves are basically mythical creatures more fair in every way compared to humans.
The forced diversity also throws the entire scene into confusion. We already saw a Sub-Saharan African in the establishing shot, and now we have a pale White person in a Rhûn/Mordor village that should be made up of Easterlings (various Asiatics). In their zeal to add diversity to every corner of this world regardless of the lore they have actually managed to whitewash the Easterlings and taken away nonwhite representation in the show. Bravo!
Then, we have the strict contradiction wherein the Easterling claims that they aren't like their ancestors who "died off 1,000 years ago", and subsequently proclaims that their "true King" (Melkor/Sauron) will return and free them from the Elves, which is a direct endorsement of their ancestors.
All for Arondir to just flatly say "the past is with us all, whether we like it or not" which is a completely moronic thing for him to say when he explicitly stated to his Elf comrade that he believes the Easterlings have changed from their past.
Fucking hell.
Like a 7.5 I guess. I'm interested after 2 episodes. Haven't seen anything super exciting yet but it's kind of comfy.
