The role is perfect. Brendan was amazing in it. I didn't see stupid Fraser acting like a (now fat but still) clown. I saw Charlie instead. Clinically obese gay suffering with his own demons and Brendan delivered this performance. It didn't feel like a movie. It was like a documentary. This movie, and this role, is Brendan's best performance even and I can forgive him all these shitty dumb films from Encino Man to mummy remakes and crappy Journey to the Center of the Earth. Fraser clown is over, welcome new Brendan Fraser.
