Season 7/8. What went wrong?

Nothing

no more books to adapt
D&D didn't give a fuck and wanted to do another project
phoned in writing. phoned in acting. horrible dialogue and CGI.
production delays, literally 2 years to make 6 fucking episodes.
making the final 2 seasons short too for no real reason, they consolidated way too much plot into way too few episodes. Look at what the white walkers became for example.

to be honest though, the issue really started the episode Ser Barristan got killed off just because D&D wanted to spite the actor.

but the joke is on them. D&D are now pariahs in the industry and haven't even done anything since GoT ended. Maybe they just are content with the money they made from HBO but it's pathetic knowing they have no legacy anymore except for the absolute failure presented in the final seasons of GoT.

Everything

no more goyim blood to drain

>D&D didn't give a fuck and wanted to do another project
That project was Star Wars

Jews

Why are jews like that?

Metal Lords was kino

Most the issues with the later seasons could have been avoided if the fattie had just finished the books. Two books, that's all it would have taken.

>making the final 2 seasons short too for no real reason
It was to pay the actors less. They were paid by episode.

>to be honest though, the issue really started the episode Ser Barristan got killed off just because D&D wanted to spite the actor.

They needed to start trimming the fat. The reasons why Feast and Dance are such a fucking mess is that everyone and their mother gets to be a PoV character it makes the series impossible to finish

Imagine thinking those godless jews have any shame whatsoever. Their goal was to show contempt for the audience, and they accomplished their mission spectacularly.

It is pretty hilarious that they were just ready to be fucking done with GoT, had all these other projects lined up and were basically the premier showrunner team worldwide at that moment, but phoned in that last season so catastrophically that everything else they wanted to do got cancelled and no one wanted to work with them anymore. It's almost Shakespearian.

>D&D are now pariahs in the industry and haven't even done anything since GoT ended.

They literally got a $200 million overall deal with Netflix and they're working on a show rn

Why does America pay it's actors so much. They don't deserve any money

Just like Lost, they had no idea how to end it. So they just shit the bed and said fuck it. What do they care, they already made millions.

A lot it these producers an start a series strong, but very few can end them that way.

It continued the quality projection started in s5 and sustained through s6

>Just like Lost, they had no idea how to end it
GRRM literally told them how it ended, they just still managed to fuck it up by not actually establishing anything and just making Dany turn evil because she couldn't have sex.

they're doing some shitty adaptation of some chinese sci-fi novel that no one wants to watch.

>They literally got a $200 million overall deal with Netflix and they're working on a show rn
They were producing the biggest show in the world at a time and had a deal to make Star Wars movies, getting to make some shitty netflix crap after things have finally cooled off for like 4 years is still a huge fall from grace.
