i’m considering watching all seasons, are they good? First episode has a guy saying Nigger so my expectations have been raised.
Fargo. Is it good?
2>1>3>4
2>1>3
4 is the only one I gave up on 1 episode in, because Chris Rock can't act, and the whole thing just seemed bad, no part of me wanted to keep going.
Season 2 is the best one, a big cast and every single character is solid, its got a fun story too.
>tfw Simone will never put her thumb up your ass
>Season 4 explains Mike Milligan and Joe.
You got filtered hard.
1>3>2
Some how I feel its better that I don't know.
2nd season is really fucking good. 1st was okay. I found 3 fucking awful, and 4 was a decent idea but was executed terribly.
1 is great. 2-3 are entertaining even though they've got some flaws. Don't even bother with the fourth season. Somehow they got the genius idea to have the show who's all about ordinary smalltown people fucking up at crime focus on two crime families having a feud. With a ghost thrown in to emulate Mike Yanagita because the show writer is a retard who didn't understand the original movie.
For the first answer, Yes. The show is really good and I highly recommend you watch it. What's great about Fargo is that every season starts with a misunderstanding that escalates and escalates. You can never expect what would happen to the cast as people will die when you least expect it. It really does succeed in making you feel tense as you watch the character's lives fall apart as their plan unravels.
Now for season ranking.

Really good. The first episode hooks you in as the intro presents a twist that would make you wonder how anything will be resolved. Out of the entire series, this one has my favorite cast as I liked almost every character. The season also takes place in the 70s so expect 70s music and fashion.

Billy Bob Thornton really stole the show this season. If anything, watch this season to see how much he can screw up the town. Besides that, the simple revenge story that escalates and escalates is such an addicting watch.
>4
I actually watch the entire season (unlike most people here) and when you get past the first episode, you can see what the creators were going for. I was really into the mafia rivalry and the family that they were affecting. Just don't mind Chris Rocks acting.
>3
My least favorite. The main rivalry felt interesting with a brotherly feud but they introduced a villain that has a confusing plan. It just seems that he is making their lives worst just for his sick pleasure but instead of coming off as charismatic like with Billy Bob Thornton, he comes off as disgusting and uncomfortable. It did get more exciting in the later half so I still recommend watching it
Who would win?
The movie was great. The first season was of the show was great.
The second season was okay. Stopped watching after that.
First seasons is quite good. Stop immediately after that. I did watch 2 but the characters were extremely weak and there were constant infuriating music montages.
1st and 2nd seasons are top tier and very worth watching. 3rd season isn't bad. 4th season is hit or miss.
>a villain that has a confusing plan.
nigga what. It was your typical "don't take dodgy loans from mob people" story, except with a guy who had to be more in control than your average mob finance guy(hence eating disorder where he also exerts control by choosing when to purge) There's nothing confusing about it?
Mike is by far the best one out of these.
Peter Stormare.
Are there plans for a 5th series?
5 this year and 6 is in production
If we're counting all the resources they use in the show, it's VM Varga like 80%.
If they all randomly met each other out of their elements, Malvo 50%, Hanzee 25%, Milligan 15%, Varga 10%.
>two crime families having a feud
That’s also S2 and the alien ending jumped the shark
Hanzee, no contest. He had the most combat experience.
Nice one
