why did all the crab guys rush out at the end? from their point of view wasn't there just one guy who'd just been shot with two arrows? ok he's proven to be a worthy fighter but surely 10, 20 guys maximum would have brought him under control.
also there's an earlier scene where some sort of artillery is being fired at some ships in the background as the velaryon guys were all arguing. how could that have possibly been fired from under ground? the dragon must have been able to get at whatever position they were firing that from.

They wanted to make it dramatic. The whole thing makes no sense, first of all why would they be even losing the war against some guys holed up in some caves. Just burn everything that is outside with dragons, put some ships around the island and let them starve.

Nah i get it, they’re fighting against pirates and mercenaries in terrain favorable to them, while they’re bankrolled not so secretly by the free cities, using caves to negate the dragons advantage. All you really need to do is defend the cave entrances, and use ships and ambushes to harass their supply lines
