We live in a world of patriarchy, in which women aren't allowed to hold the position of power

>We live in a world of patriarchy, in which women aren't allowed to hold the position of power
>King makes his daughter the primary heir to the throne despite having sons
>Nobody does anything about it and just waits until he dies
Lmao. Imagine writing a garbage story like this, and nobody calls you out for this

The king’s own 2nd-in-command is actively maneuvering against him, forming alliances for the coming war, getting the pieces ready for the game he intends to play. Pay attention retard, nobody can raise a stink against the Targaryens because they have dragons.

Everyone would have pressured the king into naming one his sons as the main heir if the writing wasn't garbage

No they wouldn't. Most people are self-interested. Some would support his daughter and others his son depending on how they could benefit and profit from it.

>wants all of the benefits but none of the duties
>the power of female writing

>The king’s own 2nd-in-command is actively maneuvering against him
No he wasn't, he is doing what he does because king is a retard and from his POV hostile. Raiders are raping his fief but king does nothing despite having dragons, dragons which make his kingdom untouchable. This would be fine if king wedded his daughter and secured the future of his family that way but king doesn't do that, he marries his friends daughter instead.

So the king doesn't do anything about the raiders, the king doesn't guarantee the prosperity of his family through marriage and he has no other cards to play expect joining arms with the kings brother

They explain it in the god damn episode.
daemon and house nigger to started a war in the stepstones after the king said not to, and sending them aid would make him look weak.

The whole show jumped the shark already after that EPIC captain america scene daemon pulled, and the horrible CGI mulatto kid flying a dragon not mentioned once in the show screaming WOOOHOOOOO

that's what they were trying to do if you hadn't noticed

And this is supposed to be the good season. Wait until it starts really going downhill in Season 2.

Thats Laenor, the kid you see in the first and second episode - his sister and Rhaenerys mention he is bonded to a dragon and in E3 based Lyonel Strong advises that Rhaenerys should marry him but says he might die in the Stepstones.

except if you live near caves, then dragons ain't shit

>mulatto kid flying a dragon not mentioned once in the show screaming WOOOHOOOOO
lmao i knew this part would trigger a tv autist

Not laenor, his dragon seasmoke, or the fact that he's a dragon rider.
It was not mentioned.
So if they're going off the book in this aspect where is his mother? She's literally a dragon rider and could help them.
They pick and choose which parts of the book to follow just to set up EPIC DRAGON RIDING MULATTO KID CGI scenes
Yup, because it's just an excuse to replace white characters with black ones.
It's literally a story about keeping a bloodline pure and yids have to BLACKED it.

The big “surprise” of this episode was that Laenor is a dragon rider. Surprises that come from them just not mentioning it are retarded

If people are just self-interested then the patriarchy nonsense the characters are all complaining about is nonsense.

Three fucking episodes in and only one split second set of little tits. This shit is a soap opera for old ladies.

>Nobody does anything about it
user they literally made him take a new wife to keep churning out babies. And now he has a son, everyone sees it as a given that he'll supplant his daughter eventually (see Lannister mentioning her loss of station). Their discomfort with a woman on the throne is very obvious.
It wouldn't be "better writing" if everyone madly fell over themselves to scream at the king how much of an idiot they think he is, they know what he can do to them if they piss him off. This dynamic is straight from real life. Very often when a leader does something utterly unheard of, the people surrounding him have to choke down their revulsion and maintain a facade of normalcy, even if they're secretly looking for ways to get back on track.

Retard, you obviously haven't read the book and don't know what are blabbering

*You are

Just me or is the political intrigue in this show far worse than in GoT? I remember Varys, Cersei, Tyrion, Tywin and Littlefinger going from one scheme to the next in order to gain influence. I remember how information was their greatest asset, being in the know about the state of the world, the enemy, allies was much sought after knowledge. Even the schemes were far more elaborate with their own twists and turns. God I miss early GoT.

are you fucking retarded thats what the whole last episode was about.

he didnt even mention anything about fire and blood though

I was talking about taking action since the world is dominant patriarchy. But spoilers: nobody does shit because writing is fucking garbage.

That was the whole point of the third episode, they literally fight a war because of this.
