HoD had years of expertise carrying over from the original show, actually put some effort into the production design, probably poached a lot of the good wig and makeup artists, maybe did a better job of working around pandemic restrictions to get the professionals they needed, because HBO has made successful high budget tv shows for decades whereas Amazog Studios is a vanity power project/auxiliary of an internet department store, any other number of reasons why they one team could be bothered and another could not.
