>Good Christian Values >Death of Hicks and Newt is the literal point of the film and aids to the story of Ripley always losing ones closest to her by the xenomorph, The xenomorph represents loss and death >The whole point of the movie is about finding Christ within loss and sacrifice. >Expanded Alien lore (Dog Alien) >Sets are fantastic and it makes you feel that this leadworks prison planet is a complete shithole. It symbolises Hell, A place where the sinners are placed as punishment for their sins >OST by Elliot Goldenthal is the best soundtrack made for any movie, the song lento recites Agnus dei, a liturgical prayer addressed to Christ as Saviour youtube.com/watch?v=9v1WQvuNc1s >The prisoners redeem themselves by giving their lives to stop the alien to save the universe as a way of forgiveness for their horrendous sins, they're sacrificing themselves and using their last acts in this life for good and therefore becoming brothers in Christ, As dillion says in the movie, "We are taking our first steps to heaven, The only question is, how you check out, do you want it on your feet? or on your fucking knees begging?" >Ends Franchise in a nice tight ribbon
With this films appreciation of christian teachings and the story revolving around christian philosophy of forgiveness, in a hollywood system that avoids christ at every turn. This film is the very definition of BASED and I'm tired of pretending it wasn't. Don't be ashamed of this movie David Finchy!
this post might be too intellectual for Any Forums, don't feel bad the thread dies soon

the autopsy scene of newt always disturbed me more than any gore in the other movies.
Isaac Morris
That's all very well, OP, but the majority of those who've watched Alien 3 seem to agree that the film is boring. Thematic substance is not worth much if the film has failed to hold our attention.
Xavier Cox
Hence why Alien3 is the ultimate pleb filter!
Jordan Davis
Assembly cut is choice brothers
Tyler Gutierrez
i heard this movie sucks
Colton Sanders
The failed clones scene from Resurrection disturbed me the most.
Brandon Evans
>boring Is actually good if you use your imagination. There was no need to kill Hicks and Newt, and i'm tired of pretending it was ok
hated it as a kid but you've convinced me to try again with an open mind, for once OP isn't a faggot

majority of people thought they were going to see the aliens come to earth for an action extravaganza, like the trailers promised
Jaxson Roberts
Theatrical cut has the better ending.
Jason Parker
Once you get over the deaths of Newt and Hicks and the bleakness of the setting, it's fine. I just dislike the whole "running away from thing in the cramped corridors while nameless interchangeable prisoners die" portion of it. Alien randomly becomes nigh-omnipresent in that scene and a lot of those people die for no good reason. The movie wasted Charles Dance too but at least we got to know him beforehand and his death served some purpose. The poor fuckers should've put up more of a fight if they were going to die anyway. Why not take it on with a group of 5 or 6 and beat it to death? It can't kill everyone.
Oliver Howard
Also i hated how in the theatrical version their whole first plan goes tits up because some moron dropped the flair.
Sebastian Lee
*Flare, dammit.
Jackson Gonzalez
>it's fine Which is pretty shit as it's a continuation of one of the best horror and action horror of all time.
The series went from a genre defining masterpieces that influenced pop-culture imemnsely to a mediocre sci-fi thriller, not better than many others.
Jayden Ward
>>Expanded Alien lore (Dog Alien) >He watched the dog version lol. LMAO even.
Jace Kelly
Unfathomably based They rejected his message
Ryder Hughes
Why wouldn't you shill the cow version?
Isaiah Walker
Anyone that has more than a couple of neurons can agree it's way better than generic monster flick Aliens
Ayden Ward
Weren't they planning a sequel that ignored 3 and 4 with Ripley, Hicks and Jones coming back?
