Favorite YOutube reviewers?

Never thought he would still be relevant from the skitshit That Guy with the Glasses Era but he alone has grown with the times and actually improved. I do enjoy his content especially AJs tabletop. No literally none of these guys are worth watching but if you’re watching anyway he’s not so bad. Hes maintained positive passion and clearly is very glad and greatful for his lot in life unlike most of these decade+ guys who look like they wish they never started by this point including James.

Don't want to say, because I don't want them to get popular enough to get absorbed into the 24/7 waste-of-life livestreams of circlejerking e-celeb grifters who are constantly on the lookout for any new blood they can suck in a vain attempt to help them maintain relevance.

I don't want my Youtube reviewers to go from making concise, entertaining, relevant content to wasting all their time on six hour livestreams with twenty morons talking over each other, that start with 40 minutes of retarded introductions and in-jokes, technical issues, instructions to subscribe and click the the bell icon, and shoutouts to their whale paypigs in the hopes they'll interrupt with more shekels and superchats. I sure as fuck don't need someone from whom I want to hear a reasonably intelligent take being interrupted every ten seconds by retards and hangers-on I don't give a fuck about, idiots with gay soundboards who think they're comedians, or brain-dead opinion-regurgitating e-thots who are only there because tits.

Keep them poor and hungry. Keep them lean and mean. Once they get their a playbutton and start hanging out with the other playbuttonfags, they stop producing the content that got them there.

I assume he was at one point, but then this happened and he got some untalented IRL friends involved and started caring too much about his viewcount, then had to produce content just to make a living.

I tried to watch one of his reviews once and it was just godawful bad. Unwatchable.

Can't trust these people at that level either, since they'd get paid offers for their opinions and shit.

Joe is pretty on-point when it comes to judging vidya objectively and concisely. But his taste in film/tv is fucking bananas. Absolutely terrible taste. Godawful. This, and his talentless posse that cling to his skirt are why I stopped watching his content long ago

Yea but his videogame takes are usually only good for like big budget releases. He's not the most skilled gamer or interested in delving deep into niches so I could never trust his opinion on a game like Hell Let Loose which he would inevitable compare to AAA stupid arcade shooters and not understand the fundamentals of tac shooters or something like the upcoming Street Fighter 6. I don't think he has the fighting game knowledge to accurately assess where the game is strong or weak in comparison to previous entries in the series.
