sorry
Sorry
I’m so sorry.
I will never again criticize based Hackson.
>Rangz did for the Hobbit trilogy what the star wars sequel trilogy did for the prequel trilogy
lmao
Just watched the extended editions recently and they're much better than cinema cuts. I'm sorry, Peter, I should have trusted you.
Shitty on a already steaming pile isn't wiping
No, these movies suck too, but that was the producers fault.
The only redeemable part of the entire hobbit trilogy is whe galadriel saves Gandalf and banishes Sauron to mordor
No, RoP being shit doesn't make The Hobbit good.
Perhaps I judged you too harshly...
First one was very good
Second one was meh
Third one was atrocious
Will not be watching RANGZ under any circumstance
Hackson-sama I kneel.
louder
Comparing with RoP, Hobbits looks a thousand time good
star wars prequel contrarians will want to force these too, no, fuck you, bilbo was horribly miscast and that's reason enough to bin these flicks
If you take out the awful dwarf/elf romance and the dumb laketown crossdresser and the movies are quite enjoyable imo.
Tranny contrarians now will pretend to hate RoP "hurrr ackshually both is bad"
FAR OVER
THE MISTY MOUNTAINS COLD
>not even one dwarf of color
How did they got away with this?
This. The hobbit is a stain on Jackson's reputation, which was already not stellar with fans of the books. The movies have problems as adaptations but as movies they're triumphs of cinema. By comparison the Hobbit films are overproduced crap.
I have nothing to apologize for because I knew it was never bad.
Amazon shills can drop off.
This
But I'd also take out the heavy use of CGI and filming on digital. I'm no wannabe film school faggot, but The Hobbit looked really plastic and fake.
Really wish peter jackson had continued his great use of practical effects. Main villian orc, can;t even remeber his name just looked like a smooth plastic action figure.
Get back to your deliveries for pennies, Amazon shills, you're on a tight schedule..
I'll give Jackson SOME slack.
The LotR trilogy had 2 years of pre-production alone just for costumes and sets. New Line rushed The Hobbit because Del Toro was dragging his feet until he eventually quit and Jackson had to take over.
I'll never apologize
looking back, maybe these movies werent so bad after all
I'm sorry that we won't be able to have a single interest thread about The Rings of Power until, say, two months from now. The passage will be clogged with the lowest kind of echo-chamber shitposting until then.
But The Hobbit films are still terrible.
