What did anons think about the prologue?
/RoP/ Rings of Power General
ZZZZ......ZZZZZ......ZZZZZZ......hm? oh. ZZZZ.....ZZZZZ.....
very good
That one 5 seconds scene was better than everything else in both episodes. It's a shitshow of mammoth proportions, I've actually never seen anything like it before.
IM SORRY BUT THE BLACKS BREAK IMMERSION
Yoooo is that Negrolas???
Eagle bros...
this is such a great show, I have no clue what people were talking about. Visually it looks beautiful, I really feel immersed and like I am in the world of Tolkien. I absolutely love the visual aspect of the land, and how appealing it is to the eye. The story is very much like the films, which I am a great fan of. You morons on here are insane talking down on this kino series
so like why is sauron evil
If you say so, Jeff.
>BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP
>two cents have been deposited in your amazon rewards wallet
>BRAAAAAAAAAAAPFWEEeeeeetteee
I've a feeling that it's gonna get even better once they've finished setting up the scene to speak
radicalized by morgoth in his impressionable teenage years
lil-Galadriel a cute
Timeline got fucked up in it, which I don't like. But Sauron standing around looks pretty badass I guess.
Elrond is hideously ugly. Why couldn’t he be a beautiful twink to look at so I didn’t have to pay attention to the atrocious script? Huge plot hole.
Was Valinor really a gigantic gaper that opened and closed like a big cartoon doorway?
raped by his dad
tale as old as time
Next episode is Númenor so likely some more setup but I think it's also going to be where the story starts to kick in properly
HHHRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN *shlpop*
Why does this post read so monotone and devoid of actual emotion. It’s creepy.
That's Elrond? What were they smoking when they decided to cast this? All I see are ugly little hobbits and elves that look like elves from Oblivion
I wonder if we'll see his hairline recede with as the show goes on.
He's actually pretty good in the show so far
yea but not til well after this point, no idea why they fucked it up
your bot chain is a bit pointless when you only reply to yourself in a sea of people shitting on it.
Haven't watched it yet. Are the episodes any good?
Fucking hell lad, nothing's acshully preddy gud in the show so far.
good morning sirs
how many rupee per post sirs?
they're slow paced but are well produced
Just finished episode one. Will watch 2 tomorrow. Gotta sleep. The episode ends with hobo Sauron sleeping on the ground after falling from the sky. Wat.
>sauron
that's gandalf nigga
I won't watch your garbage.
Yeah pretty good so far, production value is excellent and acting has been good across the board.
It's mostly setup though, so alot of worldbuilding with some action and character moments
>AAAAAAAAAAA I AM GALADRIEL, PRINCESS OF THE NOLDOR AND I WILL NOT SUFFER THEE, WALL
why did they display this bitch so prominently when she's pretty much just a 5 minute side character?
Where free streams?
>Blacked.com
prologue was great, i wish we got a first age show instead but oh well.
next week should be good with numenor, and maybe the wizard guy will fix his autism and talk.
morf a cute

Post more webms please
Primordial autism.
>"Sauron did not object to the existence of the world, so long as he could do what he liked with it. He still had the relics of positive purposes, that descended from the good of the nature in which he began: it had been his virtue (and therefore also the cause of his fall, and of his relapse) that he loved order and coordination, and disliked all confusion and wasteful friction."
>"Sauron's love (originally) or (later) mere understanding of other individual intelligences was correspondingly weaker; and though the only real good in, or rational motive for, all this ordering and planning and organization was the good of all inhabitants of Arda, his 'plans', the idea coming from his own isolated mind, became the sole object of his will, and an end, the End, in itself."
Sauron wanted a clockwork ordering of everything and free will got in the way of that.
because you don't talk to people outside of Any Forums and think people regularly express themselves with irrelevant meme garble
Yes. His skin is already gaunt and leathery, and no angle is flattering to his smooshed upper face and ogrefied mandible
First thing I thought of. Can't wait for the edits. You know the ones.
Hello Mr. Social Media Marketeer.
Doesn't resemble LOTR at all in it's tone, language, or anything relating to the canon of the books. It's horrible , they took everything godawful from the Peter Jackson movies and made it into a fanfiction tv series.
He is literally me
LOTR didn't have cunny. The future is now old man.
holy projection. my job brings me in contact with every flavor of normie and most of my hobbies trap me around megaliberals.
that doesn’t change you not knowing how to sound like a human when you try to ape Any Forums lingo to shillpost.
Fuck off faggot shill
>morf a cute
She looks super pretty in the show
Are they seriously trying to connect this to the Peter Jackson movies?
>Boat looks up, rock looks down, spin around, you're a clown!
What
i will make her my wife
Kill yourself faggot shill
>the CGI and the vistas are beautiful even though you can tell the cinematography could make better use of the budget if more talented directors were involved
>the discrepancy between production values and the amateurish writing is very jarring, show is a gold-plated turd with extreme polish
>the actress for Galadriel has no range and brings little grace to the character, go look at her delivery of the line CONFLICTED, awful
>everyone aside from Galadriel is really ugly in the show and badly cast, distractingly ugly
>elves don't feel like Tolkien elves, Jackson gave them a soft glow and made them move slowly to make them graceful and otherworldly, but here they just feel like ordinary NPCs
>lore takes a pretty big shit on the Silmarillion in several avenues
>random diversity chafes (if you don't know shit about Tolkien you won't care though)
>show has no idea who the intended audience is, sometimes you have bloodless PG13 quips then you have elven politics then you have animefag bait, the stylistic and tonal shifts are jarring
>attempts at writing "deep" dialogue are hilariously embarrassing, you can really tell they don't have Tolkien skill of putting together a good sentence
>music beats you over the head with what you're supposed to feel in a way the Jackson movies never did
>the world is not given a chance to "breathe", you're just bombarded with BIG EPIC CINEMATIC SPECTACLE nonstop like the show is desperate to avoid you closing the tab
>jumping all over the place with characters is really bad in comparison to Fellowship's naturalistic choice of just letting Bilbo/Frodo's POV immerse you into the world
So far the production values and the intro about the world's history were good. The rest ranges from bad to worse. Crazy that the budget is 1 BLN but Bezos couldn't afford to put together a more talented crew of writers/directors/actors.
6/10.
Looks fair, feels foul.
