Not horrible. But not great, either. The story hints at great potential that is never achieved in lieu of tired and gimmicky writing.

Could have been great but it's too slow and never gets around to the more interesting sci fi aspect of it.

its so fucking boring and bad. do not watch it

Yes. Needs a S2 but its kino. Brolin, BOB from Top Gun, crazy brother from Ozark, and supple Poots. Great stuff

it's inconclusive. start good and build up a great climax and then...then it goes on and on for nothing, for a "see you in season 2". at this point you already checked out and in search for something else to watch.

No it's stupid. Dont waste a single minute of your life on this trash. Watch See.

the scenes with the brother(?) singing randomly made me cringe so much. wtf were they thinking?
it was like watching some by david lynch, if david lynch had brain damage.

Could have been better but yes. S2 when

No, not really. It's one of those "made for streaming" shows where the plot itself is kind of paper-thin, but they stretch it out over so many extremely slow, plodding episodes where almost nothing happens.

It also goes nowhere, which told me that the writers had no fucking idea what to do with it. "Old rancher finds a mysterious space-hole in the ground in the ass-end of nowhere, and learns he can throw stuff in it, but actually the hole leads to a different dimension." is an alright concept except that it's never fucking resolved. Just lots and lots of Brolin doing nothing, and some old dude with cancer going crazy over a piece of the hole because he saw it as a kid.

TIME ROCKS ROYAL

This

Eh, the show got boring towards the end. So didn't bother watching the last episode.

Is it another dimension or just a portal to a different time on Earth? I wanted the hole to be so much weirder and more interesting, but they just used it as a plot device for time travel. Gay.

started off alright, went to shit

>Is it another dimension or just a portal to a different time on Earth?
I don't remember. I guess? I know that on the other side of the hole he's dead, and there's a ton of people there and the military has the thing surrounded, and there's the implication that they're basically just waiting to shoot anything that comes out of it, which is why his wife tells him to go back.

But I stopped paying attention after that.

Yeah, it was unclear and gay. I wanted it to be more cosmic and weird. I just kind of tuned it out because it was so uninteresting.

The dirt from the hole gives you powers and also we see people being affected by it en masse

I guess S2 will make it or break it. Because to me it just seemed like a lame time travel plot device.

I liked it. Original as hell story. Very watchable. The monolog at poker table in the back of the bar was kino.

Like I said, "Mysterious otherworldly black hole in the ground that leads to who knows what?" is a solid premise to begin storytelling from. It's not the best in the world, but there's enough there that you can get people to watch.

The problem is, these shows never do anything. They plod and creep and stretch 1 hour of storytelling out into 20 episodes of nothing.

If you only knew. Dont spoil it for this chap
