Mad Men's the greatest ending in any Any Forums show
not just the final scene, but the entire episode is terrific, and all the characters get closure to their respective stories
Breaking Bad's was fine, but it's mostly closing up Walter's journey, and left an open spot for that mediocre crap El camino

Mad Men superior in every meaningful category

Breaking Bad is better than Mad Men's. Both are good, and almost 99.9% of viewers don't understand them. Sopranos is probably the better.

The Shield

Mad Men. BCS had a better ending than BB

They did Sal dirty.

>99.9% of viewers don't understand them
what's there to understand in BB? they have Walter spell it all out

>sopranos is probably the better
get out of this thread with your shitty reddit gabagool soap opera

bump

BB ending gave us El Camino. Mad Mens ending gave the world a coke.

ok

Mad Men. It was nice that the ending was not particularly depressing. Optimism, striving for legitimacy, and work ethic were affirmed, despite past mistakes and hardship. Kino to the max. Messaging matters.

>hehe the song's lyrics coincidentally match the theme of the show wow ;)

sal's story ended many seasons before the finale

The ending was Don finding enlightenment through vapid consumerism. He was basically giving over love and his soul to have wealth. There was nothing optimistic about it, you're just a pleb, soulless consumer the show is mocking.

Breaking Bad

I have a 200k in the bank, a wife and kids. I just don't sell out my soul for ad campaigns so I can go bang random whores and ruin my marriage and family.

mad men's ending was much more cynical than that, that's what made it good

BB ending was underwhelming AF
Especially how well the show had made use of antagonists the Nazis felt so lame
