Being a fucking wop. Go back to Sicily you guido fuck.

>implying cops need a reason
They'll just say obstruction or disorderly or vagrancy or whatever.

he was a smelly bum with a concealed weapon

If this kino were released today, rightoids would seethe over its portrayal of cops.

Vagrancy and public intoxication. Rambo was incoherent and slurring his words.

Vagrancy. Fucking speed watchers.

>Rambo? Is that a wop name?

The Vietnam War was very unpopular at home. The peaceniks hated the vets for being "babykillers", the commies hated them for being imperialists, the WW2 vets hated them for being a disgrace to the service and running home with their tails between their legs instead of winning the fight like they did. In general the veterans did not have a warm welcome when they came home. It was not a triumphant return. Even the people who performed feats of outstanding valor in Nam were not treated like heroes.

The way Rambo was treated in the movie isn't too outlandish. If the cruelty of the cops was exaggerated it's only by a little, for the sake of drama. The sentiment behind it was pretty real.

Cops are famous for standing alongside striking workers in their fights against capitalism. /s

>UHM SIR YOU WERE MOVING 10% TOO FAST AND UHH YOUR PAPERWORK YOU DIDNT PAY YOUR FINES AN-ACCKK IM BLEEDING TO DEATH IN A DITCH!!

I don’t see how it’s unreasonable that a small town cop in the early 80’s would see a wandering vagrant and not tell him to get lost or beat him up. Especially before body cams and smart phones.

>John Rambo
>John Kramer
Is this why his son became the jigsaw killer?

Who are you? Who are any of you?

>It was not a triumphant return.
I've read that was a lie, the vast majority of soldiers were treated fairly, but Hollywood focused on the 5% of commie malcontents and made the whole Vietnam war about them.

To this day people believe Vietnam vets were spat on. Who the fuck is gonna spit on a Marine infantry vet coming back from bayoneting babies lmao

Anti Abortion protestors

You'd get murdered on the spot. Anti-war activists in the 60s were dumb centrists and wanted to court vets.

>You'd get murdered on the spot
Nah man. They couldn't handle a bunch of 10 year old Vietnamese Ladyboys. How they going to murder me? They won't even have a gun.

Jane Fonda was the voice of an entire movement of entitled women enjoying peace back home and calling troops shit like baby killers. Its not like anyone wanted to serve in this shit VOLUNTARILY, they drafted kids right out of high school to get slaughtered in some shitty jungle while people like Fonda took a shit all over them when they came home.

for being a mentally ill incel. it could hapoen to you, OP

My grandfather was a fighter pilot over vietnam during the entire conflict, off and on. He was stationed in both San Antonio and Oklahoma, and every time they came home he said people were very friendly, supportive and patriotic. My other grandpa that was stationed at fort drum (new york) said that they had to have MPs escort them back to base when they showed back up from deployment. I really think just like nowadays it's a regional thing, with the south and west not having the whole hassling vets thing and the north having it.
Probably due to alot of the volunteers coming from the south/middle of the country proportionally, but it could just be a cultural thing. Harder to see soldiers as an other when your big brother, son, father, uncle, cousin is one and he's an ok guy.
