This kind of casting immediately falls apart when they need to have it be about slavery or some other black historical sob story. Suddenly all the anachronistic black landowners and aristocrats and kangz are nowhere to be found.
No one complained about any of the blacks in the original GoT because it was established they were from somewhere else. Literally fucking Essos across the sea.
