Jerma played Willy Wonka? For real?

who?

I like the Burton weirdoesqe aesthetic. Wilder is good too, but comes off more of a conniving psychopath. He’s far to “normal” and self aware to be putting together such a nightmare such as the Chocolate Factory. Burtons is better

>Wilder is good too, but comes off more of a conniving psychopath
That always felt like the point, especially since the movies are kinda mean spirited in general.

Love Burton, but I’ve always felt this is one of his worst films.

The original has more soul but on second watch the newer one isnt as terrible as I remember it being

They're different enough that I can enjoy them both for different reasons.

And what reasons would those be?

he barely looks like depp, what was going on besides the weird hair?

It was okay but he 2nd half of the movie felt weak

The first one had better cunny. The second one had better bunny (boycunny).

>The second one had better bunny (boycunny)
Uh...who the fuck are you talking about

Wilder, by a lot. Wilder's Wonka is a well-read madman with a lot of presence.
I don't remember the book, but Depp's version is putrid reddit cringe in comparison.

Timothee Chalamet

Depp played the book Wonka. To a t.
But Wilder created a different sweet magical Willy Wonka, and played him to perfection.

>Wilder Wonka
>"Sweet"
Uh...

the original, the second was a card carrying fag

Depp acted way more autistic and awkward than Book wonka, but I enjoyed the movie regardless.

Why didn't they ever show the end fate of the "naughty" children in the original movie?

>Depp played the book Wonka. To a t.
No he didn't.
