i hate netflix

die

used to not be shit

it was good 25 years ago

it was good for the first 1/3 of it's lifespan, before it became infested with troons and other diversity hires

I refuse to believe this, Netflix can't be more than 10 years old.

>Want to watch movie
>Go to Blockbuster
>Pick out a movie with the family
>Rent that new game too for your son because he's been begging you and you love him
>Buy some movie snacks
>Go home and watch movie
vs
>Want to watch movie
>Find old movie you watched
>Find the envelope to mail it back
>Send it off
>They mail you back a movie that was on your list
>Gets lost in mail or delayed or manages to arrive "on time" but it's at least a day later
>Go to bed having not watched movie
>No movie snacks
It'll never catch on.

It take compromise to keep churning the worst adaptations the humanity have ever seen. For that, I commend you

I loved the show Alias Grace, with Sarah Gadon.

Someone ran the numbers and the average blockbuster had a greater selection of movies than Netflix currently does, just in terms of sheer number.
And obviously that's to say nothing of how much better the average movie quality was.

>sunday night
>suddenly remember you have to return some tapes
>still drunk
>x-files is about to start
>late fees

Thank you for making a mistake in 2013 that let me watch Nymphomaniac: Vol I on Netflix while it was still in the original theatrical run. You removed it within six hours, but I had already watched it and went back to re-watch a few scenes during that small window of time.

No. Blockbuster was

I bought the stock when it first came out. Thank you jewflix

What was streaming like back in the 90s?

This might be hard to believe but netflix used to mail you your movies

Before they became 800 pound agenda-pushers Netflix mailed DVDs and Amazon sold books
