How many IP’s is Netflix going to ruin this way?

the ips are like amateur porn actreses, you get off from their degradation, they want to rape the source material

>the ips are like amateur porn actreses, [they] get off from their degradation
Disturbingly accurate metaphor.

The problem is the showrunners don't give a shit about the IPs

There's just a long queue of Liberal producers that are waiting for their turn to get given their own show.

And when that happens they decide to create the show that they want and force it into the universe they've been given.

Every single adaptation is pretty much given out randomly, "we're making this show next and you're next in line, here's some money go for it"

you forgot bribing all the blue check marks and the once popular online magazines so they say your adaptation is the best thing ever and cooking viewership numbers so people believe its the most watched show of the month

In all honesty, I'd rather get a season 2 of this rather then Sandman. CB at least was cringekino.

Doss it matter? I never saw Netflix cowboy Bebop and in less than a year I'll forget it ever happened. Meanwhile the OG gets plenty of rewatches.

Soon there will be nothing else to ruin

One of the first steps of the weimar republic is to undo everything

I think the problem now is actually the subscription model. $20 comes out of each person's credit card every month and no one ever bothers to cancel because its not worth the effort. So they think they're doing well just because people are lazy. These shows are awful and if they had a box office they would be bombs and people would get fired. But win or fail the money keeps rolling in. Sure there's prime, Disney, but people rarely change.

None, because you can't ruin the original.

I have prime video only incidentally. My wife mainly has the sub so she can buy everything from Amazon with a 5% discount, free 2 day shipping and unlimited free returns. She just buys most of her clothes from there and if she doesn't like them which is is like 90%, back it goes. I'm convinced she costs them more money than her sub fee would cover.

All they care about is filling their catalog with more titles to make it look valuable and keep people subscribed

Based and negativeROI pilled

Since they’re moving solidly into ruining video game IPs at this point I have a feeling they’re running out. Video game adaptations are the lowest of the low.

the modern shows are full of propaganda. they don't care about your money, they just want you to watch it. Remember, you're the product

Horizon was already heavily story based, at least that could be a fairly reasonable adaptation.
Resident Evil is a two decade old franchise with dozens of entries and spinoffs, and instead of adapting any part of that, they made their own "OC donut steel" characters and plot, and changed everything else for some reason.

If they just adapt Horizon Zero Dawn like the headline says, that could be fine honestly.

>if they adapt my woke sony moviegame it’ll be good
Kill yourself faggot

war is le bad

that's the mo though. throw enough shit at the wall there's bound to be one that gets popular enough to line everyone's pockets, and lately, you can expedite that process by getting an established franchise/brand/whatever It's always been that way so dunno why you're surprised.

Didn't watch the original, but this one is not bad, could be fun on its own with a different name, just a story in the same world or something

Note the word "could", user
I'm just saying it's a standalone story, if they just copy it it "could" be fine. The flaw with Resident Evil's adaptation was that they didn't adapt a specific thing, they just grabbed a 20 year old franchise and made their own shit up.

they're going to ella balisnka the fuck out of aloy

yeah, worked out so well for that uncharted film.

>ruining weebshit
impossible, you can’t turn into shit what already is shit.

Yeah, I have absolutely zero doubt that the adaptation will be faithful to the original designs and plot. It's honestly a pretty cool story.

>cast Mahk to play an old man
>cast a young skinnyboy twink to play the manly action man
Uncharted was doomed from the start. They didn't even try to be faithful, they just wanted to cash in on Tom Holland's spiderman fame and make a shitty action movie.

there are going to be subplots about aloy taking varls bbc from ep1

I'm still so sad they did this to us bros... It really is a humiliation ritual

There's literally not one single thing about Horizon they could ruin. The story is already like a SJW parody that Any Forums would write as a joke.

they sort of did by making it a prequel. but yeah, that's not when people wanted.

It's not a weebshit retard
It's actually a very good piece of media that japanese produced
I dislike 99% of anime but this series has nothing in common with usual cutesy school CGDCT trash anime
