It's probably expensive as fuck to produce and most people dropped the show in the second episode or whatever. There are many metrics to consider and "viewed hours" isn't the most important.

Netflix measure by hours not viewers, now. 127.5 million hours is really good, but the problem is that The Sandman has a HUGE budget.
Netflix still haven't decided if they're going to renew Resident Evil or not. It did okay numbers, fell off the Top 10 after Week 3, and wasn't very expensive (VFX lead has said cutting the budget would be impossible). But Netflix are cold and calculating.

Ep 1 - 5 is watchable and the diversity hire is not so invasive. But EP 6 - 10 is infested with them people of color and fags. Everybody is either fags or a mixed race couple. The only white couple is a very evil couple who keep a dindu nuffin kids in a basement.
