For me it's Song Hye-kyo
For me it's Song Hye-kyo
Not bad. For me, it's Jeong Jong Seo
another pic of Song Hye-kyo
how do you remember korean names? I'm seriously asking. I saw all movies(except one) of that director of parasite but i have to google it every time to find out his name. And i did it many times and i still can't remember. The same with that main actor from Parasite. I saw tons of movies with him and i googled him a lot but i have no idea what's his name from the top of my head.
For me, it's how musical they sound. Shit like Song Kang-ho or Lee Byung-hun or Kim Ki-duk, they sound like random musical noises, or Star Wars names. So I give them a musical tone in my head and they become a bit easier to remember
I have the same problem with a lot of East Asian names. Most societies in this world are rather more conservative with names than we are in the West, and if the language is completely unrelated it does make it more difficult to remember. Japanese isn't so bad since their names tend to be polysyllabic and Japanese is quite a staccato language anyway.
for me it's Im Yoona
Should have used that pic in the OP, much better
For me it’s Ching Chang Chu Wee
every name is 3 syllables, not difficult
>every name is 3 random syllables
ftfy
me rikey Bbibbi
Sog Muh-Cocko
>For me it's Song Hye-kyo
For me it's Ping-Pong Ching
I just got used to it eventually, it used to throw me quite a bit.
legitimately how do you guys even remember these names
I know Korean
your problem is that you are probably not pronouncing the names correctly and adding syllables, making it harder
most americans will pronounce this name with five syllables
I had a hard time learning 'eo'
