"We had access to too much money, too much equipment, and little by little, we went insane."
- Russell Mulcahy

Don't know, it was a great movie that spawned an excellent pinball game.

Not enough Shadow. More like Indiana Cranston vs Genghis Khan wannabe.

They didn't know how how to balance the kino pulp version to the goofy radio version and it came off as a mess

is this the movie where they find the island in the bermuda triangle?

I don't think so.

Did they ever admit that one of Alec Baldwin's brothers portrayed The Shadow?

my bad I'm thinking of The Phantom

Did Alec Baldwin ever admit he pulled the trigger?

probably because the trailer looked like shit. I just watched it and this shit looks like a combination of dick tracy and indiana jones which I don't care for either. besides, now that I see a baldwin in it it must be cheesy. the only movies that were good featuring baldwins were saved by someone else.

the only good scene in The Phantom

I want a fucking answer after all these years.

The Shadow is the Pulp version of Zorro the same as Batman being the comic book version. As said, the movie was a mess

Lame, user. It didn't show anything.

Couldn't say, but one problem it did have, at least coming from someone that never read the comics, was the jump at the beginning from him being a bad guy to being the good guy.

You're a mess.
>dick tracy
That film was horrible.

the top comment in the trailer disagrees with you all so fuck you

I actually seen Dick Tracy when it was in theatres when I was a kid. I had shit taste in movies but I don't remember liking it. I remember wanting to see The Rocketeer also and it sucked too.

Nostalgia reviews immediately thrown out.

>he was taught to hate movies with white male protagonists
very sad

>The Rocketeer also and it sucked too.

FUCK YOU
The Rocketeer was based as fuck

Jennifer Connelly still gives me wet dreams

if that was the case I wouldn't have gone to see it but keep on with your Any Forums shit

you must be a Ghostbusters (2016) fan

Tracy bored the shit out of me when I saw it as a kid the the theaters. The movie had no idea who their audience was. It was too slow and boring for kids, plus boring musical numbers. Kids were too young to care about all the starts Beatty threw in. And back then, adults didn’t see comic book movies. My sleeves just dropped my age my friends off

Allright, you know what I'll retract that statement about the Rocketeer until I get a chance to re-watch it. I'll get it now and probably watch it tomorrow.

nope, didn't like that ghostbusters. Goddamn man I legit just don't remember like those fucking movies. Is everybody on Any Forums like this are these guys escapees from Any Forums? am I not allowed to not like a movie with a white male protagonist?

Why doesn't someone adapt Howard Chakin's set-in-the-present-day miniseries?

>The Rocketeer also and it sucked too.
The Rocketeer was awesome. YOU suck.
Saw Dick Tracy in theaters too and I was bored out of mind.

>and little by little, we went insane
Is it as crazy as 1967 Casino Royale?

I think the problem was i was young and too immature to appreciate it

it came around at the end of the batman '89 inspired bumpercrop of gothic movies centered around old timey superheroes when it was just petering out. also it's a mediocre movie

Cool shit flop all the time. Rocketeer and The Phantom are also hidden gems.

I get more entertainment from watching the history of his movie than the actual movie

The Rocketeer bombed?

I can't bring myself to click your video, sorry. I bet it took you some time to make it, but you see, I hate that film and Warren Beatty, as well as Madonna.

The rights are all fucked up

It's not my video LMAO
This guy looks like he's too polite to be on Any Forums
