I was a teenager when the Harry Potter films were running and I dismissed them as normie shit, but going through the series now I can't deny that it's kino. I just finished the fifth one and my favourite so far has been the first half of Goblet, most charming shit I've seen in years.
Is my millennial brain just predisposed to liking them, even though they weren't a part of my childhood? Will I go out and buy Legos and Funkos now?
even though I don't really like how people make it their whole personality, I can't deny that I find the movies really pleasant to watch. The castings were really well done and the sets are beautiful, they feel like theyre full of soul. Seeing the actors grow up with the roles is really cool too, especially if you watch the movies one after the other

I ignored em for ages too. It wasn't until they were all out i figured "fuckit i'll at least try them out, there are actors in them that i like, and they're not american so i at least won't hate them" and i ended up really enjoying the series.
