Drones would've solved everything

Even when they went out of their way to make the mission as narrowly specific as possible for their skillset, it would still make more sense to just use drone swarms.

This movie is literally a feature-length pitch for drones.

Nah drones dont let you feel the need for speed.
Plus imagine some faggot behind a monitor while danger zone plays, just doesnt work.

t. Ace Combat 7 retard

Not only drones but drones that kill children for israel.

no one will watch some faggots control a drone, faggot

>drone swarms.

Like a swarm of predator drones? How would they not just be shot out of the sky?

Should have used one of the flying saucers they got at area 51

maverick flies better than any computer, suck it AIfags

And then he accelerates a little too much and ends up outside of our solar system within seconds, with no idea how to even find Earth again

Bunker buster from a stealth bomber high above the canyon. Only worry would be if the SAMS defence could somehow intercept the bunker buster.

Still, this mission represents a declaration of war against a nuclear power with access to fifth gen fighters.

Are you retarded? A stealth bomber won't be invisible to radar directly below it, it would be an easy target for SAMs, not to mention interceptors which they had on standby as well.

That's why it is a stealth bomber.

Stealth means "harder to detect" not impossible.
The SAM sites were placed directly around the target, the crew also would have to open the bomb hatch which would make detection virtually guaranteed and leave them no chance to return safely.
Also a high altitude drop with no laser guidance by a secondary aircraft or forces on the ground isn't very accurate.

Why did Pete's card get declined?

Unusual behavior. He doesn't usually go to bars now that he is older. So the credit card company thought it was suspicious that he was buying so many beers. Credit Card Company was just trying to stop fraud.

This was basically a star wars mission, or something out of ace combat. They would have just bombed the uranium in transit. Either part of a larger bombing campaign like in Serbia, or in preparation for a ground invasion like Iraq. A single surgical bombing mission with no followup is unironically what Israel does.

If Ukraine has thought me anything is that drone swarms are the future

Israel would just park a remote control pickup packing a minigun to mow down a key scientist or project leader.

So you are saying a single tactical strike mission is retarded they should have done a full blown strategic war operation?

Sure, if it works, it works. But they have done this mission before. Operation Opera where they destroyed an unfinished Iraqi nuclear reactor in 1981.

I'm saying that everyone cheering at the end is a little silly. They are now at war with whatever country they just bombed.
