>My point is that with all the irresponsible, reckless, idiotic behavior in your past, that somehow, somehow you have the nerve, the arrogance to consistently and ruthlessly point out my shortcomings. From the moment you gave birth to me, I had to trust you. I had no choice. I needed you to protect me from the world. To... to be my guide, to help me navigate the difficult, confusing, and vulnerable journey to becoming a person. You have done none of those things. You're my mother, and you took a child's trust and smashed it into bits in a 17-year-long mission to destroy something that you k*ll a long time ago. And honestly, when I turn 18... I-I don't know that I ever want to see you again

I actually really like when zany comedies lapse into being really serious and heart wrenching for a few moments. I wish more comedies did this though they shouldn't do it all the time obviously.

Shut up meg.

*punches her*

Why did she turn from some relatable teenage girl character to a literal punching bag?

She was consistently the least liked member of the family by audiences in early seasons so they just leaned into it, then it became a meme and they leaned into it harder.

No idea. They changed Joe from a strong, independent disabled man to a hopeless, pathetic cripple that constantly poops himself and longs for death.
They seem to have wrapped up the Meg punching bag plotlines though. She gives as good as she gets in a lot of the newer episodes. They also stopped jokes about how ugly she is.

around season 4

>Peter stops her mid sentence and pushes her face into his oily, sweaty crack
>Releases an unrealisticly loud putrid, rank fart directly into her nostrils
>Peter Griffin laugh

>They changed Joe from a strong, independent disabled man to a hopeless, pathetic cripple that constantly poops himself and longs for death.

What? He's been the same character for most seasons

>What? He's been the same character for most seasons
He really hasn't. They even inexplicably had an episode where Peter is a better cop than him.

apparently you never saw the early seasons because he started out as a proud badass that happened to be in a wheelchair

Yes that happens to paraplegic men zoomer. When you ever leave your parents house you might meet one.

We're talking about the writing of a cartoon character changing fast and hard to be one note, not about your retard brother who got his legs blown on for trying to bomb some sandal wearers

I hate this style of nonsense.
Masturbatory bullshit.

What an odd post.

This
>fused to the floor after nuke
>ray the size of a minivan comes up
>joke is Joe slapping away the mouse traps Meg put down and shouting "bring it on!"
I always liked that scene

During the Star Wars episodes, Joe's only role was being some drone droid at the start of Empire and his messed up legs were antennas

It’s a seething boomer, you get lots of them on here.
