top is better. deal with it.
KOH did it when it was relatively new and cool looking.

le medieval blue tint filter man strikes again
I wish we had seen more of that ragtag group
this, how would we otherwise know it's set in middle ages?
Blue tint is medieval and yellow is mexico
Simple as
It's called the dark ages for a reason, retard not the normally lit ages
i wish there were filters in real life. at best you can wear colored sunglasses. makes everything look cooler tho
Paris is....LE GREEN
This decade is more of a dark age than the actual dark age
Paris is... LE BROWN

I'm at the point I'll accept that this is some Hollywood shit to keep the past distinctively "other" in normie's minds so they don't start asking questions about why modern society is so fucking shit.
>Hurr look how awful everything was Aiden, Jayden and Tyrone!
I have no evidence to back this up but it was real in my mind so it's as valid as the holocaust.
When did this war on color start in the film industry?
It's just studio execs doing their post-production bullshit because they think filters will earn them more money.
And since all the most successful box office period films have filters, it's understandable that their robotic minds interpret that as a profit booster
Isn't the blue filter in Kingdom of Heaven only while they are in France and while they are on the way to Italy to get the boat to the Holy Land?
>nooo you can't use filters to enhance the mood of a scene, especially since filmmakers never use any sort of camera trickery that doesn't correspond to how a scene would look in real life!
Yes, but it still looks liek shit. I want REAL colors back.
a uni color filter is better. movie theaters cant even convey multiple colors like on the bottom pic. it's more pleasing and soothing for an audience to see a unified mono color grade
>nooo you can't use filters to enhance the mood of a scene
use actual colors insted

How the fuck are you going to use real colors to change the color of the sky?
>left shit
