It wasn’t about people remembering chuck. It was about him finally letting loose of the guilt he felt for chucks death. After S3 he never expressed any emotion towards it, he just internalized it and went deeper into the Saul persona. This is his way of putting a rest to the Saul persona, of proving Chuck wrong by ‘changing’ yet also proving him right by admitting that he cannot truly change the path he’s taken and that he deserves to be in prison for it so he can’t hurt others more
And he didn’t do it ‘directly’ for Kim, but Kim’s confession definitely prompted him to think of his regrets and past, and he definitely wanted her there just to show her he’s not completely soulless and still Jimmy. Hence, Saul gone
