How the fuck do you even build this

Decades of time, and plentiful access to laborers/slaves.

it's a white person thing

Really carefully

Probably in a similar way to how they built Neuschwanstein

One brick at a time

Getting food and supplies up there must be a pain in the arse unless there's an entrance besides that little elevator.

my and my dad could probably put it together in three four months

the what now

ancient aliens

It was God(s).

In real life that castle wouldn't have lasted 500 hundres years, let alone thousands as the lore tells. Even small erosions could make half of the towers collapse. Neuschwanstein's foundation isn't pure rock, but rather pillars aroud enveloping the rock.

i've been here and it looks cool from the outside but its really just a big hill covered in tourists and overpriced shops.

hogwarts?

this, come on son

It's better in sniper elite 5

That was built after the Industrial Revolution – effectively a Disney castle.

>if it's not old it can't be real

>can only hold 500 men
>no room for major food stores
>too cold to even use during the winter
can literally just siege them for a few months and win, dumbest castle in the series. The best castles were built by First Men BVLLs

Very carefully

shut your piehole, also it was more of a rebuild.

John Howe >> Ted Nasmith

Humans are amazing of contracting amazing things when they just keep at it. Not like today where you pass by roadwork and everytime everyone is stranding in a circle talking or some shit.

benis of casterly rock

I want to play a video game that gives me this feel

Howe's depictions of figures and action is great, but Nasmith is kind of landscapes and vistas. He's not very good with faces and figures though.

>on top of hill
meh, so you got rocks up a slope, not impressive
>on water
meh, not impressive, we've been barging in rock to build impressive, impossible looking structures on islands for millennia.

the assignment is to find one on a rocky peak above the snowline in a mountain range, not one built on a slightly raised dirt mound with trees around it.

Exploiting womyn and oppressing minorities, that's why a patriarchal society is good, it gets shit done.

*king of landscapes and vistas, whoops

You get white people

hey look, actual steep roofs instead of the flat ones from the show

resident evil village has moments where it approaches something similar but not nearly as awe inspiring. id love a game where you just explore an island castle like that freely with some combat/horror elements

Americans don't understand how buildings work. Don't be so hard on them.
