MCU and Star Wars are done. Jurassic is the new KING.
MCU and Star Wars are done. Jurassic is the new KING
Dinos are based
Jurassic doesn't make a lot movies though
Based and deserved
Now give me a gritty 1980s scifi clone movie about Hammond and Wu being mad scientists.
so after pratt tilogy what gonna happened?
That sounds impressive and its is but you have to remember there are like 30+ MCU films. The closest comparison I can think of is James Bond.
Jurassic Park: 1 billion
Lost World: 600 million
Jurassic Park 3: 300 million
Jurassic World: 1.6 billion
Jurassic World 2: 1.3 billion
Jurassic World 3: 900 million
These movies make less money each time. The public has limited interest in dinosaur content, if you make too much they'll get fatigue and stop giving a shit.
>but kids always love dinosaurs
kids are content to watch the same old movie on repeat. the data speaks for itself.
Godzilla did it first, and better.
JW3 will hit 1 billion mark soon. It's still crazy how much money it made.
>Jurassic Park
1 good movie
>MCU
0 good movies
>Star Wars
2 good movies
The ABSOLUTE state
The new JP trilogy was dogs hit, every new movie worse than the last. It's cool to see new dino species being shown but otherwise the plot and characters are retarded. There's only a few scenes in each movie which make them memorable.
SEXY WHITE LEADS MAKE MONEY *GASP*
>every new movie worse than the last.
No shit.
Her spine must hurt from thrusting her rib cage out like that all the time.
Type of movie that does well in China
Fallen Kingdom > World > Dominion
All the characters were more interesting than Jurassic Park, sorry. You can keep your shirtless Jewblum.
Her spine must hurt from carrying all DAT ASS
Her ass is carried by her legs, not her spine.
I am a Jurassic simp but I feel like they're falling off a cliff. They can't even be fun dinosaur movies anymore because they added that retarded rule about "no unearned deaths" and in the new one they didn't even follow that because we couldn't have a heckin dinosaur kill the evil china man
There's something about the way the new movies use the dinosaurs that makes the whole thing seem cheap and generic. The dinos don't have the same kind of grandiose and weight like the first movie and to the lesser extent the og sequels do. In the original every time a dino is on screen it grabs your full attention where as these new movies the dinos seem way more blah and generic and more like plot devices than the focus of the films
