The story is more coherent in the producer's cut. The only problem is that the story is fucking garbage and retarded. The less of that the better. The theatrical cut wins because of this as well as the added gore.

It was hard to take seriously at times. Like, people always criticize found footage films because the person is constantly recording on a camera and not running away is silly, but then you got this guy who takes the time to hold up a camera and take pictures which seems even more silly and unrealistic. Especially when the little girl gets killed and he just takes pictures, it's ridiculous
