What is this film about?

Is that Martin Freeman from Black Panther and Surelock?

>masters all the technical stuff
>writes shit song after they separated
was it really liam that made oasis?

D'YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN

YEAH YEAH

it was always about Liam

Who the fuck is Supersonic?

Don't give a fuck about their music but this documentary was incredibly entertaining. I feel the same about that Daniel Johnston doc.

MAYBEEEEEE

Oasis was always a bit too bleak and miserable for my taste, Blur was the better band of the britpop era.

Fucking YES lad

The way I see it, right

Noel is the poet and Liam is the town crier

Also, I don't usually mention this

But here's a definitive list of top oasis tunes:

supersonic
acquiesce
some might say
slide away
live forever
lyla
cast no shadow
bonehead's bank holiday
the masterplan
rock n roll star
she's electric
morning glory
importance of being idle
listen up
go let it out
half the world away
cigarettes and alcohol
d'you know what i mean
gas panic!
underneath the sky
little by little
columbia
it's better people
d'yer wanna be a spaceman
champagne supernova
talk tonight
stand by me
don't go away
falling down

*I didn't include don't look back in anger/wonderwall because everyone knows about them but they are also absolute certified timeless belters
I fucking love oasis lads

Fucking mad for it

Oasis are british culture in it's truest form, the entire country knows the words to wonderwall off by heart

Absolutely BIBLICAL

Fucking CELESTIAL

Blur are alright too I suppose, they have a couple of decent tunes

As you were LG x

Why is this song so underrated

Never listened to them but it's annoying that one of their albums has a different logo.

WHA?

OOOOOONEEEEEE WAAAAAYYYYY OOOOOUUUUUUTTTT

One of the worst bands to come out of England I'm glad they never really took in the states

LET ME BE THE ONE
WHO SHINES WITH YOU

>bleak and miserable
Is this an actual joke, the best thing about Oasis are their unselfconscious, unironic lyrics about enjoying being alive

Pulp > Oasis >>> Blur

Oasis sucks

Well-made doc but a massive missed opportunity cutting it off at their peak, the story of their downfall is actually like some epic screwball comedy.
The wikipedia page for Be Here Now alone is more entertaining than pretty much anything that happens in the film.

>Blur
Literally who?

The Verve>Pulp > Oasis >>> Blur

he's salivating like he sees some cunny in the audience

Most reddit band

blur seems like a bunch of cunts

>movie makes it seem as if their career magically stopped after Knebworth and they didn't release another four albums full of uninspired pub rock rubbish

For me, it's 3 minutes and 3 seconds into their live performance of Slide Away on 11th August 1996, the second night of the Knebworth Festival

Good band that got exponentially worse with each subsequent album. It's really depressing to think that most great artists make their best work in their twenties.

What's that (brit?) band that: recently broke up after the singer went to prison?

Virgin yes but Jarvis Cocker was raised by a single mother in Yorkshire.

pulp is alright but this is just contrarianism for the sake of it

lost prophets?

I like Jarvis Cocker at least
