sexism is an epidemic

She was completely unsympathetic to her husband’s death sentence. Skyler is a poorly written character, that’s the truth of it. Carmela Soprano is an example of how you write an interesting wife to the morally ambiguous protagonist.

She's a narrative nuisance. Walt's suspicious and concerned wife gets in the way of the underworld hijinks. It's nothing personal, I don't think.

Redditors love this cunt

Because she was a pretty realistic portrayal of someone whose husband goes off the deepend and ruins her life, and people are too stupid to understand that a character study about a good guy turning into a bad guy doesn't mean you actually have to root for them. Therefore, Skylar is seen as an antagonist instead of a real character.

People’s disliking for Skyler stems from her behaviour in s1 and s2 when she’s an unreasonable, narcissistic cunt.

ugly bitch looks like Clancy Brown

>the ebay handjob
>that actress' face
she wouldn't be hated half as much otherwise
fucking ted is just bait

In Season 1 she's portrayed as an out-of-touch SuperMom who is content making 5 bucks on ebay as her career while her husband works two fucking jobs. Can't even be bothered to pay attention when giving him his semi-annual handjob.
When she finally realizes Walter is living a double life she acts instead of thinks and doesn't bother to talk to her husband. Granted Walter is not really giving any honest answers, but she never makes a decent attempt at trying to actually have an adult conversation about it. Only being accusatory and standoffish.

Skylar bad Carmella good

this but unironically
she actually stands up to Tony and fucks with him in a believable way

>winnar

Carmela isn’t all good, in fact her flaws make her interesting. But unlike Skyler, she makes sense as a character and feels like a real person. Skyler feels like a stand-in poorly written cookie-cutter bitchy wife.

The handjob scene feels like it was written without much thought for who Skyler was as a character or how she would be perceived by the audience. It’s our first impression of her and it’s a horrible one. She’s not a good wife.

The problem with this bitch is she knew she was out the minute she discovered Walt wasn't a cuck, but she made sure to cause as many problems as possible for everyone instead of just going and living her life. If Walt had involved her from the start she would have been content and potentially helpful seeing as she was up for committing fraud on Ted's behalf. Instead she decided to pretend to be morally superior and not a criminal and punished literally everyone around her for breaking the rules even though she broke the rules. She had the ability and the skillset to launder Walt's money but instead decided to steal it and give it to Ted. They both broke bad but she betrayed Walt and justified it by acting like Walt was the only one doing something wrong. Look what she did to her sister was a thief that mostly stole from shops with insurance but she stole Walt's money and gave it to Ted. She was quite simply, hypocrite which means she was actually just a massive cunt with false justification.

You lose once you start smoking around babies in fucking 2008+. Literally no excuse, it's not the 50s anymore. She's a hypocritical cunt

I hate her fucking face so much lol

Is it because she looks like Woody Harrelson?

She wasn't just looking for an out. She was as manipulative as Walt was yet more abusive to Walt than he ever was to her. Her entire presence was to guilt trip everyone then act kind when they broke. Everything she accused everyone else of doing, she was doing. She didn't even like Walt so she could have just shut up and taken money at the very least but instead she decided to punish him in every way she could because he finally decided to take his life into his own hands. Her problem was never about the money or Walt committing crimes. Her problem was the fact that her family lost everything, and she was the one wearing the pants when it started to go downhill. She knew everything was her fault.
