Are anime adaptations doomed to fail?
Alita was good
that was a manga adaptation
They took cues from the OVA too
Also edge of tomorrow was ok. Still manga though
who is this semen demon?
yes
It could work
The japanese death note was good.
if jews are the ones producing them, then sure.
if it's producers that want the series to succeed, I don't see why not. you have to choose the right project of course.
series like psycho-pass or SAO would work pretty well. any SOL/music/sports series would be very easy to work with as well.
For the most part, yes. Anime is often extremely bad.
Yes, because anime doesn't work in live action.
Also real humans are too ugly.
marvel has been dominating the box office for the last 15 years. not sure Any Forums has a leg to stand on here.
Anya Taylor Joy
Edge of Tomorrow was a novel adaption.
Marvel, when they succeed, produce a simple product with absolutely no substance, therefore not a lot to criticise. Plenty of substance in anime.
In the West, yes. Western producers don't understand why people like anime in the first place. The Japanese can make a good live action adaptation of anime.
what was so novel about it?
marvel movies have the same substance as isekai, that is, not very much.
most anime are bad, just like most movies/series are bad. that's ok.
given I've never seen a good one; I'll say yes. But apparently Edge of Tomorrow was one so...
i'm not a weeb, what character is this supposed to be?
shes a little too old
shes way too old
>Are anime adaptations doomed to fail?
