Im pretty sure this movie is scientifically impossible unless some icy comet hit earth, because the water level isn't going to ever get that high even if all the ice on earth melted.

Nothing's dry either

What about salt water?

Nothing's CGI either

it was climate change propaganda
probably al gore secretly produced the film.

She peaked in napoleon dynamite

spoken like a true drylander

She peaked in Big Love where she was a cute Mormon

>Waterworld.
thats that Mad Max on water movie right? Literally Mad Max, but instead of desert its the sea, and instead of fuel its sand.

You mean Veronica Mars

More or less, yes. Worse protagonist, but fantastic action and effects.

thats awesome

In Waterworld it's soil, land and gas. You need gas for Jet Ski battles and to run your criminal barge

Dennis Hopper was kino as the movie villain though

And cigarettes

Watch the Ulysses Cut. It's actually an official version of the movie now after beginning as a fanmade extended edition.

Oh thank god.

Does it have new scenes?

>Dennis Hopper was kino

No, user...
he was outstanding, and the only problem with that movie, is it didn't have more of him in it.

Lots, it's about 40 minutes longer. It started from a TV edit of the film that removed violence and swearing, but reinserted lots of worldbuilding deleted scenes. A fan took the TV edit many years back and put back in the cut violence to make the most "complete" version of the film.

Now a couple of years back, when Waterworld was released in 4k, they included an official recreation of the Ulysses cut in HD, rather than sourced from a TV airing. It's nearly 3 hours so it's quite a lot of Waterworld but I think all the added worldbuilding and character stuff, particularly in the first act on the atoll settlement, improves the film a lot. It doesn't drastically change it but the world is a lot more fleshed out and the Mariner has a bit more of an arc and gets an actual name at the end.

This movie has some absolutely spectacular action. The whole attack on the atoll is amazing, and all real stunts and sets.
