I unironically don't have any problem with the concept of Walt and Jesse scenes. The show had to connect to Breaking Bad somehow, they couldn't just skip straight to Gene since this is a separate work from BB and there are people that only watched BCS. I thought at first that they are pointless, but I liked how later they mirrored the real action of the episode. The only problem I had was Jesse's voice. I can handle skeleton Mike, I'm ok with fat Todd, but this was too much.
That being said, I still think Nippy was much better than the last episode.
