It hurts. Stop.

He didn't fuck that mom

genuinely the best actor to have appeared on the show, hope he does more stuff

The pain is supposed to hurt user

couldve done so much with this character

He could've been part of the group in season 4 if they spared him. Him, Steve and etc. A spinoff series on him could've been great as well.

but bro he literally beat up Steve for hanging out alone in a shack in the middle of the woods with his wildly underaged younger sister, he was evil to the core

he was a based character but I can't really picture him fitting in with Steve, Nancy or Robin. he was far better as a background character who just sort of did his own thing and would occasionally cross paths with the others

You must consider that his death was some of the purest kino ever put to screen; and that his death was the driving force behind the RUTH scene in s4, which is- arguably- kino of a higher caliber. So not only did Billy's sacrifice save best girl El, but it also gave us two of the best scenes in the entire show.

Dacre's best scenes
1. Seven feet
2. The sauna test
3. OP's scene

AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAA

IT HURTS

He was an asshole, good riddance.

>can't really picture him fitting in with Steve, Nancy or Robin. he was far better as a background character who just sort of did his own thing and would occasionally cross paths with the others
True, perhaps in season 4 if they had spared him he could've moved back to California of his own apartment and did his Lifeguard stuff, also encounter the group from over in Cali while he's doing his own gig.

>New character is introduced
>Interesting background let’s see how he fits into the narrative
>extreme potential for redemption and storytelling
>gets killed off right when receiving proper development

Duff bros…. Not like this…

True but you have to admit he had so much potential in season 4. Like a lone wolf doing his own shit but helping the gang out of for himself (and somewhat Max) and nobody else.

It's alright user.

Was he racist or did he just not want Max to have a boyfriend

Same thing came to happen to Eddie however not even the Duffers expected to deliver such a fucking GRAND SLAM with his character……

To simply, kill him off, again.

I always thought he just didn't like fucking NERDS and that he would have reacted the same if she was hanging with dustin. But the cucker bros went full retard and said that he's LE RAESCEST. But what they don't realize is that that just makes him more BASED

Everyone else on the show can’t act for shit, but he was great and has a great screen presence, hope he gets more roles in the future

He was legit racist and basically told Lucas to stay away from Max or he'd kill Lucas. Steve took an old school ass beatdown to defend Lucas. I imagine ppl wanted Billy to have some redemption arc as they literally ignore how he treats both Max and Lucas, but I'm glad he's dead. Cool villain tho.

Retard

>Was he racist or did he just not want Max to have a boyfriend
Admixture of both,
He wasn't racist just had some predujiced towards Caleb because of them stalking Max. You have to understand Billy also grew up in era that was equivalent to the Warriors movie (only worse) not to mention his Boomer Father being a cretin.

He's truly does care about Max but just doesn't know of showing it. He knew they were stalking her and that concerned him and it doesn't help that Max said
>what does it concern you?
When he ask if they were giving him problems.

Duff Brothers never said he was racist, only Caleb (who's a brainlet) who said that about him over Jason The Basketball Captain (idiot thing to say that).

True

The actor disagreed with the Duffers on the racism and said he didn't believe that was part of Billy's character. I think the Duffers just 'canonized' it because they clearly can't be fucked developing side characters as anything other than tragedy devices for traumatizing/developing the main cast.

HE WAS A goddamn racist in the 80s! It is unthinkable

The Duff Brothers still don't brand him as a racist because he wasn't. It was only Caleb at that called him that when they did a comparison over Billy vs Jason. Caleb was a brainlet for saying that since Dacre had no intentions of making his character Billy a racist and wasn't going to participate in it. Billy was just a troubled young adult with harsh past.

It's good that he died because him changing and helping the group in season 4 would have been just a rehash of Steve's arc. He had his small redemption moment and that was good enough, he had to go.

Wait, wait, wait. Then how does Dacre Montgomery describe Billy's targeting of Lucas specifically by him telling Max to avoid "certain people" and then physically assaulting Lucas while she was hanging out with like 4 other guys?

Caleb wasn't being a brainlet. He simply understood how the Duffers wrote Billy in reference to how actual racists behave. I get that it didn't feel like a major issue since Billy wasn't using blatant racial slurs and being a hardcore lunatic in that regard, but it was subtle and did not go unnoticed.

True, that's problem with Stranger Things and Duff Brothers. Billy and even Eddie had vast potential in the upcoming season to be a major individual in the show but nope they get killed off. And it's very upsetting honestly.

He kept seeing Lucas around with Max the most. Also certain people probably means the group. Mind you Billy tried to run over the gang in his first appearance when driving back home with Max (though we don't know if had full intentions and was just trying to scare Max).

>but it was subtle and did not go unnoticed.
It was more shown, they also wanted to add racial slurs but Dacre said no and even was against doing stuff like that to Caleb (grabbing him like that). Honestly they originally intended for Billy to be racist but they backed off since Dacre said no to the original stuff and they decided to make him predujiced that gave the vibe of racism to the auidences (which is understandable) keep in mind dude he almost ran them over the road with his car when he saw them. He just want Max hanging out with them. As for Lucas as I already explained earlier but also he's the one he kept seeing her with and after Max getting upset and going in his car out frustration over gang lack of trust in her with Billy seeing thisndidnt help either.

Understand that Caleb is black and portrayed Lucas as a child who has likely experienced similar shit which has prevented him from simply just rationalizing Billy's unwarranted aggression against Max's seemingly only black friend as some whimsical "oh he just wanted to protecc his lil sis & din no how ta sho idz." I get ya'll have a hardon for Billy but Jesus, try to be smarter. It's not that complicated.
